the outsiders

In ela i am currently reading book called The Outsiders by S.E HINTON in this book the main character Ponyboy is in a " gang" called the greasers he always was very mistrusting in the decisions that his gang made. in the book The Outsiders by S.E Hinton Ponyboy is the middle kid in the gang yet everyone claims that hes the strongest yet he grew up too quickly to realize what he was going through as a child.
In the book The Outsiders by S.E Hinton the main character Ponyboy began to grow from the very first page in the book and continued growing to the very end of the story. Ponyboy grew up not knowing much about himself yet as the story went on he grew up and realized that his childhood was so clear yet he never really grew up like a child. Ponyboy told the story as a grown man telling his past but as he spoke as an adult part of his childhood was still there and he grew up not forgetting where he came from or where he was going . Within the entire story the key is never forget who your friends are because they'll always be there for you.
In the book The Outsiders by S.E Hinton coming of age speaks a lot about the main character Ponyboy because he grows and grows and grows as an adult and as a person. ponyboy realizes that he and his friends rushed there childhood and didn't think about stopping.

right behind you ...

Right Behind You is a realistic fiction book that talks about how something could affect another in a instant. In the book Right Behind You by Gail Giles she talks about a boy named Kip  who gets a criminal record at the age of 10 and lives as a criminal. From the very first page of this book to the very end you notice that he toils to try to be a good person and not be a criminal yet he never really is good to start with.In the beginning of the book it starts at a party and tells how he set a kid named Bobby Clark on fire because he took his baseball glove.Kip never wanted to kill Bobby but no one understood how Kip could do such a thing to his very own friend.
In the book Right Behind You by Gail Giles Kip accidentally kills his friend bobby over a baseball glove. i think that Gail Giles did this to show the reader how much tension was on Bobby's shoulders and show how hard it was for Bobby at 10 years old. I think that bobby was innocent from the start yet all of the drama and having a criminal record got to him as the story went on and drove him mad. From the very start of the book i always thought that Kip was trying his best to be a good guy yet all of these issues drove him to a point were he cant try anymore and he decides to live with everything that's happening to him. what Kip does is good because hes understanding who he is and why he is who he is.
In the book Right Behind You the main character Kip has a record that he doesn't deserve to have yet he realizes that life's not always what you'd expect it to be.the fact that he got arrested at 10 years old is pretty sick yet he got arrested for a reason, a simple case of MURDER !. Once he get's arrested he stays quiet locked in his room for months and months and realizes what he had done and begins to open and eyes and see the world and why what he did was wrong . Gail Giles try's to make you realize that the choices you make come with consciences that could lead to something that you wouldn't wanna do after all.
In the book Right Behind You the main character suffers guilt through out the rest of his life and helped him realize why what he did was wrong.I recommended this book to anyone whose looking for a book with issues about someone and how it could affect them for the rest of his life...
